Interested in learning guitar?
Artarmon Public school has a long-established Guitar Tuition program. Guitar lessons are available at school during school hours. Lessons are catered to all levels from complete beginners upward. The program focuses on reading music for guitar, guitar basics, and enjoying a wide range of music.
Guitar hire
Guitars can be hired from the school for a small fee. If it is inconvenient for your child to bring a guitar school for lessons there are guitars at school for their use.
Guitar groups
Junior and Senior Guitar Performance groups play music from a wide range of music genres. They perform at the Concourse Concert, Open Days, School Fete, Carols Night and other times during the year.
Students are able to join group when they attain an appropriate level of competence on the instrument. Junior Group and Senior Group rehearse once a week. There are some combined rehearsals leading up to performances during the year. Bass guitar, ukulele & mandolin also catered for.
