How to enrol

Every child has the right to access quality public education in their local community. If you live in our local intake area, start your journey to join our vibrant school community today. Follow these key steps:

1. Check your eligibility:  use School Finder to confirm if your address is within our local intake area.
2. Read:  other enrolment details for our school.
3. Apply online:  complete our online enrolment application.

School contributions

In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.

Special Religious Education (SRE) and Special Education in Ethics (SEE)

On enrolment parents/carers will be able to select their preference for SRE/SEE or alternative meaningful activities. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child's enrolment in SRE/SEE should be sent to the school (artarmon-p.admin@det.nsw.edu.au) or updated through Service NSW (https://ehub.enrol.education.nsw.gov.au/update-student-details/).

The following SRE classes are offered at  Artarmon  Public School:

• Buddhist SRE is provided by International Buddhist Association of Australia Co-operative Limited - Nan Tien Temple. SEE is provided by Primary Ethics. Government schools provide an option of SEE to students who are not attending SRE. For more information about SEE, including the authorised curriculum scope and sequence, please visit the Primary Ethics website (https://primaryethics.com.au/).

During the time that SRE/SEE classes are being held, students not attending will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities, including reading, private study or completing homework.

Students will continue in the same class as the previous year, unless a parent/carer has requested a change.
