School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
School events in a typical school year may include:

North Shore PSSA
Artarmon PS is an affiliate of the North Shore Primary Schools Sports Association.
Our zone organises interschool gala day competitions, held twice per term, resulting in a total of four events for both the summer and winter seasons. Additionally, we host three major carnivals in Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics.

Parents & Carers Literacy & Numeracy Information Night
Date: Mon 23rd March
Time: K-2 5-6pm, 3-6 6-7pm
We are hosting a parent and community event to explain daily classroom activities, how teachers use the NSW syllabus to teach and assess literacy and numeracy, and to provide practical demonstrations, while inviting your feedback and questions to tailor the session to your interests and support you in helping at home.

Year 6 Performance
Date: September 23rd
Time: Evening
The Year 6 performance evening is a wonderful celebration where students showcase their talents, prepared through engaging Creative Arts lessons. Parents and families come together to enjoy an unforgettable night filled with creativity and fun. It’s truly a fantastic occasion for the entire Year 6 community to share and celebrate their achievements.
Easter Band Breakfast
Date: Thursday 2nd April
Time: 7:50 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.
The Easter Band Breakfast is a special morning celebration featuring live performances from all APS Bands. Families are invited to hop on in and enjoy a wonderful start to the day with fabulous music in a festive Easter atmosphere.
Join us on Thursday in the Artarmon Public School Hall. All performers will receive a free hot cross bun following their performance!
